Single Cable Suspension System – Fast, Economical and Efficient
The most cost-effective and quickest installation method, primarily recommended for ducts with diameters below 400 mm. However, it's also possible to suspend larger diameters using a single suspension line, depending on the project.
Standard mounting components include:
-
Galvanized or stainless steel PVC-coated wire rope
-
Turnbuckle
-
Eye bolt (or Q-type toggle anchor)
-
Thimble
- Wire rope clip
The standard tape-to-cable distance is 5 cm, with quick adjustment options available. For optimal stability, the suspension tape should not be excessively long, as this may cause the duct to swing during operation.
There are four available connection types for attaching the suspension tape to the steel cable:
QuickGlide – plastic hook
QuickClip – plastic carabiner
QuickClip+ – galvanized steel carabiner
QuickClip Premium – stainless steel carabiner
